LGBTQ+ Identity and Inclusive Language in 2022

Have you ever seen the acronym LGBTTQQPIAAA and wondered what in the world it even means? In this presentation, we will elaborate on the spectrum of identities housed under the LGBTQ+ umbrella as well as discuss key ways to make one's language more inclusive. We will cover pronouns, the history of the word "queer," and more. Cristina Yelvington (she/her) is the Coordinator for LGBTQ+ Initiatives at the University of South Florida and has served in this role since January 2019.
