« back to classes page
The James Webb Space Telescope, NASA’s leading infrared observatory, is designed to investigate the universe’s history from the first light after the Big Bang to the formation of life-supporting solar systems. Launched on December 25, 2021, its advanced instruments and large 6.6-meter mirror enable it to capture detailed images of distant galaxies, stars, and planetary systems. With a PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Texas, Harsha Perera will explore the glories the telescope provides.
