Oppy, as his friends called Robert Oppenheimer (1904-1967), is known as the father of the Atomic bomb that ended WWII. His life as a theoretical physicist, social activist, and leader of the Manhattan Project was filled with complexity, accomplishment, disappointment, and emotional turmoil. Drawing on real-time videos, we will examine his life and times, including his fear of a nuclear holocaust.
