An ambitious mama's boy wanting to measure up to his cousin Theodore, he was felled by polio and became paralyzed for life. Yet, astonishingly he found empathy for others and taught us that the only thing we had to fear was fear itself. We will examine FDR's early years, rise in politics, and amazing partnership with Eleanor, and review how he led the nation through two of the worst crises we’ve ever faced: the Great Depression and WWII.
