ID : 2200
« back to classes page
Decision-making in medicine involves the close interaction of facts (science) and morality (ethics). Over three meetings, we will explore how effective decision-making could lead to humane outcomes in complex medical cases. The three clinical examples for analysis include; harvesting organs from a corpse, allowing (or not) premature infants to die, and honoring the wishes of individuals suffering from advanced dementia (Alzheimer’s disease).
